UniLiON announces Gregg Jones as new chair from 2026

Gregg Jones, Director of the Brussels Office of Coventry University in the UK, will take over as chair of the Universities' Informal Liaison Offices Network (UniLiON) from 2026, the current chair, Massimo Busuoli, announced on 09/12/2025.

Jones is a graduate of the University of Oxford, and the University of Glamorgan in Wales. He is currently Director of the European Hub at Coventry University, based in Brussels, a position he has held since November 2018. He was Director of Finance and EU Programmes at the Conference of Peripheral Maritime Regions from January 2017 to October 2018.

From September 2008 to December 2016, he was Head of the EU Office at the National Assembly for Wales. He previously worked as Senior European Officer and Deputy Head of Office at the South West UK Brussels Office (December 2003 - August 2008) and as Principal European Development Officer at the University of Glamorgan (June 1999 - November 2003).
