Thierry Coulhon appointed president of EuroTech Alliance for 2026

Thierry Coulhon, President of IP Paris, has been appointed president of the EuroTech Alliance for a one-year term.

He took over from Koen Janssen, President of Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands, on 01/01/2026.

The EuroTech Alliance, which celebrates its 15^th anniversary in 2026, includes six innovative science and technology universities. They are:

• IP Paris;
• the Technical University of Denmark;
• Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland;
• the Eindhoven University of Technology, Netherlands;
• the Technical University of Munich, Germany;
• and Technion (Israel).

The alliance is behind the "EuroTeQ Engineering University" project, which won the European Commission's call for pilot projects on European alliances in 2020.
