International rankings: THE and QS publication schedule for 2026

News Tank summarises the publication dates for the main international rankings of higher education institutions proposed by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) and Times Higher Education (THE) for 2026.

At the time of publication of this article, the timetable is as follows:
• early March: THE ranking of the best universities run by women;
• 24/03: QS thematic;
• 29/04: QS Online MBA and QS Executive MBA;
• June 2026: THE impact;
• 18/06: 2027 edition of the general QS;
• 15/07: QS 2026 best student cities;
• 15/08: Shanghai general;
• September: THE general,
• 16/09: QS Global MBA 2026 and ranking of master's in five disciplines;
• November: QS Sustainability 2026 and THE Interdisciplinary Science Rankings.

Note that the Times Higher Education has already published its thematic rankings on 21/01/2026 and QS its European rankings on 28/01.
