Research Ireland and Irish Embassy of France announce 15 new research partnerships

Research Ireland and the Embassy of France in Ireland have awarded 15 new research partnerships with the Ulysses programme to "support collaboration between researchers based in both countries", they announced on 27/02/2026.

The Ulysses programme is funded and administered by Research Ireland, the Irish national research agency, in collaboration with the French Ministries of Foreign Affairs, of Higher Education and Research, the Embassy of France in Ireland and Campus France, the French agency for the promotion of higher education, international student admissions and mobility.

It enables researchers to develop new international partnerships through reciprocal research visits over 24 months.

"By supporting mobility at an early stage, the programme helps teams to test ideas, share methods and build the relationships needed for successful, long-term collaborations," stated Research Ireland.
