Universities in the Middle East suspend in-person teaching amid attacks

Universities across the Middle East have closed and shifted to online learning amid escalating airstrikes following the killing of Iran’s supreme leader, Ali Khamenei, in US-Israeli strikes. Iran has retaliated with drone and missile attacks on countries hosting US bases, including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Israel, Jordan and Kuwait.
