University Agency of Francophony signs partnership with African French-speaking consular chambers network

The University Agency of Francophony (AUF) and the Permanent Conference of Francophone African Consular Chambers (CPCCAF) have signed a partnership agreement to bring together economic and academic players in French-speaking Africa, they announced on 11/03/2026.

The two associations stated that they shared a common vision on many development challenges in French-speaking Africa, like "bringing economic and scientific ecosystems closer together, strengthening the capacities of young people and their employability, research, innovation and the promotion of entrepreneurship (particularly among women), etc."

The partnership agreement aims to pool resources, networks and expertise to:
• develop job and skills benchmarks, particularly in high-potential sectors in Africa;
• promote student mobility aimed at strengthening employability through internships in companies and in the respective locations;
• collaborate on the enrichment of barometers and economic studies for the benefit of universities and businesses.
