QS Executive MBA Ranking 2026: MIT climbs to third place, France leads in performance categories

The US business school MIT Sloan climbs to third place in the QS MBA Ranking 2026, up from fourth in 2025, after gaining one rank over IESE Business School in Spain, falling to fourth. It is preceded by HEC Paris in second place and Oxford Said in first place, maintaining their leading positions from last year.

The QS MBA Ranking 2026 was published on 29/04/2026 and ranked a total of 215 programmes across 55 countries and territories. With 66 programmes ranked, the US is the most represented country (with 67 schools in 2025). It is followed by France with 14 and the UK with 11, both maintaining their previous scores.

A total of 48 business schools from 12 Continental European countries feature in the global rankings. Of these, 16 rise, 21 drop and five remain stable.

Quacquarelli Symonds is a higher education analyst and a for-profit services provider headquartered in London with offices in Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
