The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) has awarded seven institutions with Initial Business Accreditation.

Announced on 29/04/2026, the newly accredited institutions are:
• Austin Peay State University (US);
• CUNEF Universidad (Spain);
• Faculty of Business, Babeș-Bolyai University (Romania);
• Faculty of Economics and Law, Piacenza-Cremona Campus, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Italy);
• Indian Institute of Management, Shillong (India);
• Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management (India);
• North Central College (US).

The accreditation organisation said that, following the recognition of these schools, the total number of AACSB-accredited institutions stood at 1,090 in 70 countries and territories, and at 195 for AACSB accreditation for accounting programmes.

“The commitment to earning accreditation is a true reflection of each school’s dedication — not only to its students, alumni network, and greater business community — but to society as a whole," Stephanie Bryant, executive vice president and global chief accreditation officer at AACSB, said.
