IE University launches IE Competitiveness Hub in Brussels to support the "Brussels debate"

IE University has launched its IE Competitiveness Hub Brussels, a centre of applied research dedicated to strengthening European competitiveness by convening high-level discussions on the key drivers of Europe’s growth, including finance, innovation and economic security.

Manuel Muñiz, Rector of IE University, launched the IE Competitiveness Hub in Brussels on 05/05/2026: "The opening of this hub in Brussels reflects IE's ambition to be present at the heart of European public life. It is a way for IE to contribute ideas, research, dialogue and policy thinking on the future of Europe."

Enrico Letta, former Italian Prime Minister and Dean of the IE School of Politics, Economics and Global Affairs at IE University, said that, unlike in Washington DC, the presence of universities in Brussels was "shy". He added that he would like universities to be "the first helping the Brussels debate".
