Australia: New 2050 Alliance launches collaborative higher education agenda

Nine Australian universities have launched the 2050 Alliance, a new higher education group aimed at helping Australia achieve the Federal Government’s target of 80% of working-age Australians holding a tertiary qualification by 2050. The alliance replaces the Innovative Research Universities (IRU) group and was launched by Education Minister Jason Clare.
