EARTO awards prizes to Jožef Stefan Institute and Swiss Centre for Electronics and Microtechnology

The European Association of Research and Technology Organisations (EARTO) has awarded its 2026 Innovation prize for Impact Delivered and Impact Expected, respectively, to Jožef Stefan Institute (JSI), a Slovenian RTO, and Swiss Centre for Electronics and Microtechnology (CSEM), on 10/06/2026.

The independent jury, composed of Eszter Lakos MEP; Georg List, Chair of BusinessEurope; Elisa Rivera, General Director of Planning, Coordination & Knowledge Transfer at the Ministry of Science and Innovation of Spain; and Michiel Scheffer, President of the Board of the European Innovation Council, awarded:

• JSI’s DyThera project, an advanced Dynamic Line Rating software deployed within the SUMO Dynamic Rating System;
• CSEM’s ORYL F1 project, a high-throughput solubility and aggregation profiling instrument.

The second and third prizes in the Impact Delivered category went to the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) for the magSIMS project, an advanced mass spectrometer, and to the Institute for Systems and Computer Engineering, Technology and Science (INESC TEC), Portugal, for…
