Heads of French universities emphasise need to move away from a utilitarian approach to Europe

Heads of French universities and representatives from Erasmus+ and the European Commission have emphasised the need to move away from a utilitarian approach to the European Union in order to establish institutions as key players in its development, notably through the work of Heads of Administration (HoAs).

They were speaking at the annual meeting of the French Association of HoAs (ADGS), taking place in Strasbourg (France) from 02 to 03/07/2026. The association studies the administration and management of higher education and research in France and abroad, and their developments.
