Arqus alliance to establish legal entity and work on Joint European Degree Label

The European universities alliance Arqus has won the European Commission's approval for its third funding phase, the Arqus Bridge Funding (the next stage in the alliance's development, covering 2026-2028), and has decided to establish a legal entity and work on a Joint European Degree Label.

"The approval of Arqus Bridge Funding by the European Commission provides continuity for the Alliance’s activities and supports its long-term transformation," the alliance said on 20/07/2026.

Its Rectors’ Council announced the decision to establish an Arqus legal entity on the same day, with further details to be announced in the coming weeks.
