European Commission launches training programme for innovative SMEs

The European Commission has launched a training programme for innovative SMEs.

The Commission announced on 07/08/2026 the launch of Ready4EIC, aimed at companies developing innovative products, services, technologies, processes or business models. The programme targets SMEs seeking funding, preparing to engage with investors or exploring European funding opportunities, including Horizon Europe and the European Innovation Council (EIC).

Applications are open until 16/08/2026.

Ready4EIC will be delivered in two rounds, providing up to four months of tailored capacity-building support.

• Round 1 will provide core knowledge and tools over approximately two months;
• Round 2, which will be available to selected participants, will offer a further two months of advanced support focused on scaling…
