The General Assembly of The Guild of European Research-Intensive Universities has elected Laëtitia Atlani-Duault and Jens Kreisel as Board members.

The network of 23 European research-intensive universities presented on 02/09/2026 the new members of its board, elected in June 2026.

Laëtitia Atlani-Duault is a research professor and anthropologist specialising in humanitarian and health crises. She is currently Vice-President for Europe at Université Paris Cité. She is the founder and president of the Covid-19 Ad Memoriam Institute and served on the French government’s Covid-19 Scientific Advisory Board (2020-2022).

Jens Kreisel has been Rector of the University of Luxembourg since January 2023. He obtained his PhD in materials physics in 1999 at the Grenoble Institute of Technology…
