Association of universities German U15 elects new team to the Executive Board

The German U15, an association of 15 leading universities with a strong research tradition, has announced its new Executive Board team.

Michael Hoch, from the University of Bonn, will serve as Chair for another two years, while Eva Inés Obergfell, from the University of Leipzig, and Karla Pollmann, from Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen, have been elected as Vice Chairs.

"Together, they are committed to further developing the academic system amid changing conditions and an increasingly challenging political and social environment, to sustainably strengthen research, teaching, the transfer of scientific knowledge and to ensure their international competitiveness," the organisation said on 01/09/2026.
