MIT Sloan tops QS Global MBA Rankings 2027, Cambridge Judge Business School is first in Europe

MIT Sloan, the business school of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, has climbed three places and now tops the QS Global MBA Rankings 2027.

There have been many changes in the top 10 of the ranking published on 16/09/2026 by Quacquarelli Symonds. Whilst Harvard has retained its second-place position, Stanford Graduate School of Business rounds off the top three, moving up one place from the previous year. Penn (Wharton), which was top last year, has dropped three places.

The podium is therefore entirely from the United States, which dominates the ranking with 132 institutions (+10 compared to 2026) out of the 423 in the ranking. The second most represented country is the United Kingdom, with 32 institutions ranked (35 in 2026), followed by Canada with 24 (17 in 2026).
