Clarivate recognises 22 researchers as 'Nobel class’ in their list of Citation Laureates

Clarivate has announced the 22 Citation Laureates for 2026, a distinguished group of researchers whose work is recognised as Nobel-class.

Clarivate announced the names of these 22 researchers on 17/09/2026, after a panel of experts at Clarivate’s Institute for Scientific Information (ISI) stated that these individuals had made pioneering contributions that continue to shape science and society. The researchers are based at institutions in seven different countries, the majority of them in the US.

Bar Veinstein, President of Academia & Government at Clarivate, said: "The Citation Laureates programme recognises researchers whose discoveries demonstrate the extraordinary value of fundamental research."
