The European Commission has launched the European Startup & Scaleup Hubs call with €40 million available in 2026-2027.

On 06/10/2026, the Commission announced the launch of the call as part of the recently amended work programme of Horizon Europe for 2026-2027.

The Startup & Scaleup Hubs form part of the Lab to Unicorn Initiative, which is part of the European Commission’s Startup and Scaleup Strategy. The aim of the call is to better connect deep-tech hubs across Europe, create clearer pathways enabling start-ups and scale-ups to grow beyond their local ecosystems, increase women’s participation in start-ups, and help bring innovations from the laboratory to the market.
