VET stakeholders and institutional partners draft a declaration for a European Apprenticeship Area

Heads of Euro App Mobility, an association of major apprenticeship training networks aiming to develop the international mobility of apprentices at the European level, have released a draft declaration to create a European Apprenticeship Area.

They gathered in Paris on 15/10/2026, with representatives of the European Commission, to review the results of the French pilot project 'Mon apprentissage en Europe’ (MONA) and to share the experiences of apprentices, training providers and employers.

"The exercise confirmed that combining apprenticeships with international mobility sets young people on the path to excellence, and that whilst there are still a few obstacles to overcome, the way is now paved for the European Apprenticeship Area," they said.
